We met November 19, 2019 and my grandma died December 12, 2019. He never left my side and his priority was tending to my grief. We were addicted to meth at the time, which can make grieving especially hard. We now have three years clean and have made it through hell. We don’t just love each other. We love each other’s souls.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Moving to Omaha and living in the car and getting sober together. Not many couples would come out of that. Our love for each other was stronger than addiction and continues to get stronger everyday.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put a down payment on a house big enough to give us our own bedroom. We gave the kids the bedrooms so we now sleep in the living room. Also, get him his own vehicle so he can commute to his new job. He is a carpet layer for Nebraska furniture mart here in Omaha.
