We never really had a “start date.” It was more like we kept accidentally becoming part of each other’s lives until one day it stopped feeling accidental. We grew up, drifted, came back, argued, laughed, and somewhere in all of that chaos, we realized it was always us just in different chapters.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We don’t really have one “favorite” memory; we’ve been part of each other’s lives since childhood, so everything blends together. But one night stands out: a camping trip that didn’t go as planned. We were promised tents, but there was only one huge shared tent and chaos everywhere. So we escaped to the beach, laid a towel on the sand, and ended up sleeping under the cold sky, just holding each other through the night. That felt like us.
What would you do with $20,000?We haven’t decided yet, but three ideas keep coming back to us. First, helping our families who have always needed us through every step of our journey. Second, finally taking a real honeymoon traveling to Europe, something we’ve never done together despite years side by side. And third, investing in a small creative project, a short film or theater piece, a dream my partner has carried for years.
