How did your love story begin?

We both attended UW-Madison for college at the same time (Go Badge!) but never actually met until after through mutual friends at a music festival. After several years of being friends and dating other people, the timing was finally right and Garrett uprooted his life from Minneapolis and moved to downtown Chicago to finally give it a go after many years of mutual interest but poor timing. Some may call it the invisible string theory! We haven't looked back since and are now married with a pup!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

While our wedding and honeymoon were number one, we would have to say the first summer after Garrett moved down to Chicago. The feeling of finally being with your person that you’ve secretly known is your person for so long is unmatched. Each day was a new adventure, learning how to love each other and enjoying the beautiful city of Chicago. Cubs games, kayaking, bike rides to the beach were the cherry on top of the laughs and inside jokes. We will never forget the summer we fell in love

What would you do with $20,000?

As a favorite couple, our dream isn’t about luxury - it’s about building a life together. We’d put the $20,000 toward a home where we can start our family, celebrate milestones, and create lasting memories. Every dollar would help us create our foundation for our future and the family we’ve been dreaming about.
