Our love story began at a dance club called Cheek to Cheek in 1997! I (Bethany) was just 18 when I walked into the dark club. On the dance floor was the best, hottest dancer I had ever seen (aka Shawn)! It took some time but eventually a girlfriend of mine and I were part of the group that danced together (because she was dating one of the members/bartender). Not many words were exchanged but when I danced with Shawn I felt like I could fly! 2007 is when things picked up!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The moment that Shawn and I were both single. It was 2007. I had been single for a bit and our bartender friend from the group called me to say that Shawn and his girlfriend broke up and we should talk. I immediately called Shawn and he asked to come over. We went for a walk down the road and he said, “I’ve had a crush on you since the day we met.” “You’re my unicorn. I was too shy to even talk to you.” I was stunned and completely taken off guard in the best way imaginable!
What would you do with $20,000?We would get new tires on all our vehicles and maybe do a little house upgrading or payoff some debt. It would be so incredibly helpful!
