We would like to thank you for supporting Sharon and Jim Grigg in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Jim, a USAF officer, was stationed at the UK Air Base where I worked as a secretary for his Commanding Officer. He noticed my green eyes and red hair and he was smitten, but I was dating someone else at the time. One Valentines Day he invited me over for dinner, I said that my boyfriend will probably take me out. (He left his number in case it fell through...) well... it did and Jim cooked me the most amazing steak dinner I had ever had. Every V-day he cooks me the same meal, 34 yrs later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Living in Germany after we were married and the 60-100 mile biking and camping trips we did together, and enjoying all that it had to offer. Wine and beer included.
What would you do with $20,000?We would probably use it to travel more. We both love to travel and experience and explore different places and meeting people along the way. And to visit my family that are still in England.
