We met like a lot of couples do, online. Our first date was at a bookstore in New Haven CT. Kate came in with a pair of cute overalls and a smile that could light up a room. I knew that we would get along well. We both joked about being anxious and how people told us not to pick up flowers because it would be too corny. Our love story blossomed from there, I assured myself I’d go slow and they moved fast. Within a month they had said I loved you and I had stumbled over the words back.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We spent our first anniversary in Pennsylvania in a secluded cabin on a cliff side. We got in pretty early, I remember the sun was shining through the window onto the bed. We both laid down on separate sides and napped together. I woke up a bit before Kate and couldn’t help but just stare at the sun resting on their face. I think about that moment often.
What would you do with $20,000?We are trying to save for a house! Not only that but it would be great to pay off some debt or go on a nice trip! They haven’t been out of the country so I’d love to take them somewhere international.
