It really didn’t begin until senior year in high school when I finally got up the courage to ask for her phone number. We actually became close friends in the last few months of the school year, but after graduation, I lost touch with everyone until Facebook came around and allowed us to connect again. One year she mentioned her approaching birthday and I offered to take her out. I drove to Jacksonville and we had a great night…sparks flew…and the evening was sealed with a kiss.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite moment is when I completely surprised Shannon by proposing at karaoke, right after singing “For Once in my Life.” She had NO idea…burst into tears of joy…and said, “yes!”
What would you do with $20,000?We’re both 50 now and about to be married for the first time. We would love for our New Orleans wedding to be an unforgettable fairy tale celebration of our love for our families and friends.
