Our story was 20 years in the making. We'd known each other for decades but were never in the right season of life. After he lovingly cared for his partner through years of illness and later experienced unimaginable loss, a mutual friend suggested I ask him out. I did. One simple question changed everything. What began as a chance on perfect timing became the easiest, kindest, most genuine love either of us could have imagined.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of my favorite memories is realizing there wasn't just one unforgettable moment—it was the day I noticed how ordinary moments had become extraordinary. Twenty years after first knowing each other, we finally got our chance. Every road trip, concert, quiet dinner, and inside joke reminds me that sometimes the best love story is simply finding your person at exactly the right time.
What would you do with $20,000?We'd split it between memories and milestones—a dream trip together, a down payment on our future home, and maybe a few tickets to see our favorite artists. We'd turn $20,000 into years of adventures, laughter, and stories we'll still be telling decades from now.
