We would like to thank you for supporting Seth and JJ in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our story started with a Hinge voice prompt that said, “I hope you like dogs because…” Seth recorded a memo of him barking, thinking “if they don’t think it’s funny, I don’t want ‘em.” Before playing it, JJ thought, “He’d better be barking, or I don’t want him.” The rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories isn’t a single moment, but the entire Wicked era of 2024. We saw the movie at AMC four times, listened to the soundtrack nonstop for months, and made it the hallmark of our holiday trip to Colorado. We drove through the night listening to it for 10 hours, Seth met JJ’s family, and even brought home a Wicked vinyl gifted by JJ’s sister. That whole season marks one of our favorite times together.
What would you do with $20,000?Seth graduated law school and is starting a career in public service and victim advocacy. JJ will soon go back to school for nursing. With that in mind, the $20,000 would help us achieve our dream of owning a home, so that we can finally maintaining a backyard flower and vegetable garden and get a dog without worrying about rental restrictions.
