Six months into marriage, we adopted 3 foster kids we met volunteering. Now we're 7 strong, chasing adventures in silly hats.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met on eHarmony. Our first date was at a Thai restaurant. We happened to both work in the same building but didn't learn that until our first date. Weston says he fell in love when Miranda made him his favorite foods and took him for a picnic at a drive-in movie. Miranda's love grew as their friendship took off and they went on trips and shared new adventures. After meeting Weston's family, Miranda was inspired to start volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and met their future daughters
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of the silliest memories we both love was on a cruise. We were dressed up for formal night in coordinating green and black formal wear, but with matching fez hats in the same green and black. We got asked a few times if we were wearing a special national or cultural outfit. We love wearing matching silly hats specially Fez and this story always makes us smile.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay bills. Unexciting but true. We have 5 kids and 3 of which are about to graduate high school. We hope to help them as much as we can after they graduate and the best way to do that is to pay off debts. Our high schoolers also need cars, so a down payment on one or 3 would be very helpful.
