Sean and I were set up by a coworker. She insisted that we meet, and we both agreed. The moment I met Sean, I knew that there was something special about him. It was as if my soul recognized him. I suffer from insomnia, and the night that we met, I fell asleep on his shoulder while we watched a movie at my friend's house. He put me at ease. He settled my soul.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of each of our children. Each time we had a baby, it was just Sean and me, and we got to spend precious time with our brand new baby. It was us bonding not only with one another, but also with this new life that we created together. Those moments as new parents are irreplaceable.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to celebrate our anniversary in style. When we got married, we never got a honeymoon. We said we were going to Bora Bora for our 10th anniversary and had to postpone it because Sean lost his job; we couldn't justify that kind of expense. We then said it would be our 15th anniversary. When our 15th came around, I was dealing with some health issues that caused us to postpone our trip. We said it would be our 20th, but I was in nursing school, so we had to wait again.
