We met in 1979. He had just opened a new pizza shop. We had an immediate unexplainable connection. I was 5 yrs older, 2 children and recently divorced. We “dated” about 2 years and then life took over. I needed to be a mom, he needed to be a single guy struggling with a new business. We have no idea what happened, but I thought my “package deal” was far too great for him to take on. Life goes on despite what we want. We didn’t see each other for 26 years, and then it seemed like 26 minutes.

After 26 years, and finding each other we took a road trip to Las Vegas. We never stopped talking. We discussed why we stopped seeing each other, I told him I thought I was too much to take on with 2 kids, he looked at me and stated, “But you never asked me”. The exact words a fortune teller told me my missing life person would say 3 months earlier in New Orleans. She said my person didn’t know how to find me, but when he did, he would say those exact words. And he did. Goosebump moment!! 🥰💕

Treat our family, grandchildren to a much needed and much wanted vacation. We have 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. We love spending time with them, and they love being able to get together, but life, distances, work schedules and finances seem to always come in the way for us to ever have everyone in the same place at the same time. If we could pay for it, perhaps we could make it happen.
