On twitter through a shared interest. As silly as it may sound, we bonded over anime initially. Then, we talked for hours one night through messages and we just clicked. We have been through a lot of similar things in life so it was really nice to finally feel seen and understood when talking about those things. It truly was one of those “when you know you know” moments. We met in person for the first time about 4 months later and have been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Surprising him when he thought I wouldn’t show up for an important day in his life. It was early on and we were going through a lot but I drove 2+ hours and woke him up before he had to be there.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay our bills and get ahead for once, since this has been our biggest focus and we’re both working so hard to get there. Take a much needed vacation to one of our dream destinations. Possibly move closer to his family so we can have them in our lives more often. I don’t have much family and he’s lived away from them since we moved in together 2 years ago. Relax and enjoy having some room to breathe without constantly overworking ourselves. And of course, appreciate every minute we have together.
