Met online in AZ in 2021, we are total opposites! Sara is a quiet, plant-growing Emo Cowboy from CA, and Tesha is a loud, Lego-loving Nerd from WA. We made it official in 2022, blending our fur-family with Tipsy the Schnauzer, Sir Benson Thomas, and recently adding our husky pup Tikaani. Sara proposed in Nov 2024. Through life’s challenges in sickness and health, we’ve stood steadfast as best friends and rocks for each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory so far is our first date at Ikea. After weeks of texting, Sara was quiet at first, but my outgoing personality broke the ice. As he looked at furniture, I used my gift of gab to haggle and save him thousands! Since I lived close, I offered to store it at my place, saying, "Let’s go rent a U-Haul." He grinned and said, "I like you." From that exact moment, we’ve been mission-oriented together, tackling anything life throws our way as a team.
What would you do with $20,000?If blessed with $20,000, we’d first secure our foundation, getting completely back on our feet after Sara fell ill in July 2025 and couldn't work. With peace of mind restored, we’d invest in our future: funding our dream wedding, putting a piece toward land for our forever home, and taking a deeply needed extended vacation to reset after a very rough year. It would mean turning a season of hardship into a fresh start for our family.
