We met on an online dating site. Sara was looking for someone local & had her search parameters set within an hour of where she lived. Fayssal was talked into creating a profile by a friend. Somehow, Fayssal found Sara and sent her a message. After experiencing bots, Sara thought he was one. She didn't care because he was too cute to pass on. When we had our first video call, as soon as Sara saw Fayssal, she said to him, "Oh my God, you're real!" We were hooked from that moment.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The best memory we have as a couple (there are so many) was when we first met in person in Marrakesh, Morocco. We'd spent hours a day on video calls for close to 2 years to this point & needed to meet in person. Sara had never travelled out of the USA. As Sara exited the airport, we spotted each other. We embraced for close to a minute. When we shared our first kiss, we knew we had the real thing. We even got it on video! It was truly the start of our beautiful life together.
What would you do with $20,000?Sara would love to take her adult kids and her mother to Morocco to meet Fayssal's family. We could use what's left to do some needed renovations on our house. Sara is also a HUGE fan of Jeff Goldblum, so it would be a lot of fun to meet him.
