I laugh now about the first trip we took: Salem for Halloween where we had roaches crawling over our hotel room walls but he loves Halloween and I refused to let roaches ruin our fun. Honestly our story had bumps—I’m stubborn and so is he. One thing we've always done is make an effort & I want us to be an inspiration to others and our kids
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?His proposal. I’m a romance author and Jeff proposed at a signing, during a panel where I was speaking—the moderator asked one last question and he stood to answer. The whole time he was speaking I kept thinking “WHAT THE HECK IS HE DOING?! Sit down, Jeff!” Never occurred to me that he was proposing in a room of 400 women 😂 Everyone figured it out before I did. In my defense, I spend my days writing happily ever afters. You’d think I would recognize one happening right in front of me?!
What would you do with $20,000?Our dream is to share our vows in Italy--with our four kids beside us. Nothing extravagant—just an intimate ceremony, the 6 of us together, making memories under the Tuscan sun. Swimming, eating incredible food, & celebrating not only our love and the family we’ve built together. Making this trip possible would mean so much to us—not because we need a lavish trip, but because it gives our kids a chance to be part of something unforgettable. We love each other and them, so much
