Scarlett’s best friend decided to set us up, so Sam attended a club that Scarlett went to weekly. We stayed after the club, hitting it off, and Sam got Scarlett’s number. When she got home, Sam sent Scarlett a text. A month had gone by and no reply. Sam asked the mutual friend to check why she was being ghosted. Scarlett was confused because she had texted Sam and got no response. Upon opening their texts, she saw her message unsent in the text box. An apology and many texts later, here we are!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We got engaged in Central Park. Sam knew that Scarlett was going to propose, so she secretly got a ring and planned everything so that after Scarlett proposed, Sam could pop the question too. The look of pure shock on her face was worth all the nerves and excitement. We then took engagement photos in Central Park, being cheered on by onlookers on the bridge, riding the carousel and even took a silly picture of us sharing a hot dog while showing off our rings. It was the best day ever.
What would you do with $20,000?We would have the wedding of our dreams and use any extra money to pay off student debt and save for a house. Times are scary right now to be visibly queer but our love is just as valid as anyone else’s and we deserve to have a loving day with our friends and family. We deserve to have a secure future.
