We have known each other since I was 12 and he was 16. He’s my older brother's best friend. I had a crush on him since I first saw him. We have always been drawn to each other has friends. So easy to talk to one another. When I got divorced at 32 he was there to help me through it. Then one day we just saw each other differently and knew.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?As cliché as it can be; our wedding. We got married in New Orleans at a small chapel with our closest family and friends at 11am. Then we had a reception back at our friend's property. It was so simple and lovely. Our whole family pitched in to cook, set up, decorate and make it amazing for us. We were gone by 5pm just as the sunset back to New Orleans.
What would you do with $20,000?We have three almost children who are heading off to colleges and first apartments. We always try to put their need above ours. We would also love a proper honeymoon getaway that we avoided to save money.
