Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on Instagram when we were 16 years old and as soon as we started talking we fell in love and became best friends all at the same time. We talked on Skype literally every single night for 8 months before meeting for the first time in December 2015. We were long distance for years, as I (Sam) am from Toronto Canada and Carson is from Cincinnati Ohio. Now married 7 years and I have a US green card and we live together in Cincy!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The emotional highs of seeing eachother at the airport every 4-8 months are always very special, and getting to explore eachothers home cities together was so much fun. Our favourite memory is probably when we took a trip to Niagara Falls together in 2021; that was absolutely incredible, we were having so much fun we impulsively added an extra day to our trip and got a motel for one night before taking the train home the next day.

What would you do with $20,000?

A few years ago we purchased the home that Carson grew up in, as well as his mother and aunts/uncles years before that. It was built in 1924 and it needs some work, so we would put the money towards renovating our home and paying off any debts we have, such as Sam's school tuition loan from Veterinary Technician school!
