Connect How did your love story begin?

After a 12 year relationship ended, I never thought I'd fall in love again. Seven months later, knowing I still dreamed of marriage and a family, I took a chance and met someone online something I swore I'd never do. With zero expectations, I met a Serbian man while being a Mexican woman, convinced our different cultures would never work. I was wrong. Our journey has been filled with UNBELIEVABLE stories, challenges, and adventures, and I hope one day I have the opportunity to share with you.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is when my Serbian husband met my Mexican family for the first time. Was a complete cultural shock for him from the music, traditions, food and atmosphere. He tried every traditional Mexican dish, even the spicy toppings he wasn’t used to at all while doing his best to make a great impression. Watching him embrace my culture and genuinely try to fit in with my family meant so much to me. We had a lot of laughs and a great time that we still clearly remember today.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won the $20,000, we would use some of it for IVF. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past 5 years with no luck and having a family is something we want more than anything. Whatever is left would go toward our rent and bills. I know it sounds cliché, but we live in California and the cost of living is beyond imaginable. We are two hardworking adults and even then it can be tough.
