From strangers in a 2014 photo to soulmates in 2020. Married 7 months later, now living life’s greatest adventures together.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Our story actually began long before we ever realized it. We first met in 2014 at a mutual friend’s birthday dinner, sitting side by side without ever speaking. Years later, in 2020, we finally connected while working the same shift. She kept visiting me, and I grew to look forward to her. She asked me out more than once before I said yes, and it was the best decision I ever made. Seven months later, we were married. Looking back, it feels like fate had been quietly working all along.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I don’t have just one favorite memory, but our third date says it all. We took a 6-hour road trip to New Mexico—honestly, the best way to get to know someone. You either love them or leave them. We hiked, visited breweries, and danced all night in our hotel room. Somewhere on that trip, I realized she was my forever person.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d use some of it to remodel our hall bathroom and make our home even more special. But most importantly, I’d take my wife on an unforgettable adventure—because the best memories we have are the ones we create together.
