Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on a dating app (it works sometimes).We met at a dance club on 4th of July and the night ended with him telling me he wants a serious relationship and a future. I rolled my eyes, it was the first night we met and we were young. Nevertheless, went on a beach date a couple days later. Our first kiss really was magic under the stars. Rylie tried telling Angel he was too young for her, but she came running back with an “I miss you” text and is now happily his “cougar” forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

After we got engaged, we went out to celebrate. 5 minutes into arriving at the bar, a woman in her sixties approached Angel and asked if she could do a body shot off of him for her first time. He looked at Rylie like… not gonna do that freshly engaged. So the older lady asked if she could body shot off of Rylie! Rylie said yes and lied on the bar and the old lady took a shot of tequila out of Rylies belly button and took a lime from her mouth. This was a hilarious and crazy start to a wild night

What would you do with $20,000?

We want to afford a wedding! We are 25 and 26 years old and got engaged in 2025. Angel is in his 4th year of being a helicopter mechanic in the army and Rylie is wrapping up her masters degree in Marine Science as a marine mammalogist. We live in Georgia now for school/army but all of our family resides in CA and AZ. Our dream is to have a wedding in California near the ocean. 20k would allow us to get married in CA and invite many of our friends and family, and even bring our dachshund, Kelp!
