We have been dating for 9 years, been nerdy together, costumed together, played d&d together, and love each other more each and every day.

Marci was preparing to uninstall the dating apps but saw me (Ryan) on there and saw we are both nerdy, enjoying cosplay and comicons, and assumedly thought I was handsome. I was at my mom and dad's house with my family, and a couple of family members were on one of the apps having fun swiping for me and told me a I got a message from someone, so I read it and saw her picture and was pretty smitten very quickly.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I don't know if I can pick a specific memory, but there is this feeling I get when she shows up for me or when I get to show up for her. I'm not talking about physically showing up, I'm talking about times when emotionally one person is needing serious support and the other one of us is there, and goes above and beyond to make the other person feel so completely supported that it almost replaces that neediness with confidence. That feeling is my favorite memory.
What would you do with $20,000?We have some home upgrades that would be very nice to get done, so we'd probably do some of that, but Marci has been learning Japanese for a little while so I think a trip to Japan might be in the cards. It would be our first real vacation leaving the Midwest in over 9 years.
