We would like to thank you for supporting Ruth Windsor in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I placed an ad in our local newspaper. We spoke on the phone and devoted to meet in person a couple days later. We became inseparable and married a year later. We have 3 boys between us, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and another due in Nov. Randy herniated a disk in his back 6 months after we were married and after our youngest son was born he had his first surgery and I soon went back to work. We now both volunteer with our local senior centers teaching them crafts, calling bingo, etc.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our holiday parties with the family. The kids all get together, our siblings, we play games, eat, laugh and just have a great time together. It reminds us that we have nothing of we don't have each other.
What would you do with $20,000?There are so many things we could do with $20k, put some towards our mortgage, help my mom, help the kids, get a new car.
