How did your love story begin?

At 16 years of age I was homeless and living in City shelters, Migrant camps and Hobo campsites and traveled America in freight cars. One day I caught the wrong train- instead of going to Tucson Arizona. I ended in El Paso, Texas where I joined The Army at Ft. Bliss and accidentally went into a teen club where I met my future wife and married her- now we been married for 60 years, we had 3 Children, 1 Grandson 10 Granddaughters and 3 GreatGrand children - Ruperto Aguirre Jr.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

As a young married couple we shared many treasured moments with our children and watched them grow before our eyes -now we shower them and our Grandchildren with our blessings each and everyday.

What would you do with $20,000?

Take a well earned vacation as we have hardly ever had one but most likely take a few of our Grandchildren with us.
