We met at a little coffee shop. I was waiting when I heard his cowboy boots walk in behind me. I eyed him from my table as he placed his order. He then sat at the table across from me. He started talking to me and right then the coffee grinder was used. I couldn’t hear him. I asked him if he wanted me to sit with him. He said yes! We spoke for a bit then exchanged numbers using pen and paper as neither of us had our phones on us. We met for breakfast the next day.
