Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story started the way many modern love stories do, with a swipe on Hinge. He responded to my prompt regarding my biggest date fail. My answer? During a date at a bowling alley, I somehow managed to fly down the lane with the bowling ball still in my hand (like something straight out of a cartoon) in front of an entire packed bowling alley. Apparently, Jeremy found this endearing rather than horrifying. To this day, I still haven’t gone bowling again.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. In one week, we had a missed flight, an earthquake, a stolen phone, a medical emergency, a rainbow and then a rainstorm that flooded our reception and forced us indoors. Most people would call it a disaster. We call it the best week of our lives because we laughed through it all together surrounded by family and friends.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, it would help us begin our next chapter together. We’re just one week out from our wedding and are also in the middle of moving and searching for our first home. While some of it would help us finish paying for our wedding celebrations, the majority would go toward a down payment on a house where we can build our future, create memories, and hopefully give Lucy, our dog, the backyard she deserves.
