How did your love story begin?

We met at 14 on a blind date, I slapped him our first date. I didn’t want to see him. It was summer 1975 I was working at A&W Ronnie showed up. I gave him a gallon A&W root beer and he asked me out again. I did go and it was a great time. He went to Del Norte high school I went to Cibola high school we dated throughout the years when we got into our senior year I got pregnant. We got married in December 17, 1977 had my daughter March 27, 1978 and graduated in May 1978 we did it all backwards.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Getting Married having our children celebrating their accomplishments and being here to see our grandkids as they were born, we were so happy to be grandparents

What would you do with $20,000?

Use it to celebrate Our 50th anniversary. I would take my family to Italy or Hawaii so we can celebrate it together. That would be so exciting. We were not able to go anywhere for our honeymoon. We were so young we really didn’t have the money.
