I was a single mom of 2; my kids’s dad left when I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter & our son was 5. I did not date, too busy raising kids. My girlfriends talked me into using a dating service. My husband was a widower with 4 grown daughters. When we finally met after talking for 2 weeks on the phone my daughter was 10 my son was 16. Married 9 years now, together for 13.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date. I was actually talking to him on the phone as I pulled into the restaurant. He was sitting outside in the courtyard of the restaurant. I glanced to the left from my car and our eyes met. Corny but I knew right away he was the one.
What would you do with $20,000?My daughter is in the Navy, deployed to the Middle East for about 4 months. She’s tentatively scheduled to return in February 2027. I would use the money to fly myself, my husband, her auntie’s & the grandparents out to greet her ship when it pulls into port. Then bring our girl home before she’s sent to her next assignment.
