Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began when I first laid eyes on my future wife as she entered a rehearsal venue. I knew that we were destined to be together. I was instantly smitten. In the beginning, we were platonic friends who shared our feelings and life experiences during long, engaging, & enlightening conversations over the course of 2 years. During this period of engagement, we became intertwined spiritually. A pivotal event occurred during one of the rehearsals that ultimately determined our fate.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Both of our cherished memories were made during a town hall dance event. We were like two magnets, instantly drawn to each other. As George Michael’s song “Careless Whisper” started playing, I grabbed her hand and made my way to the dance floor. The dance drew us into each other’s arms, and a warm, intoxicating embrace enveloped us. This would be the event that would finally conclude our lifelong quest to find a life partner. I could not shake the powerful feeling as I was madly in love with her

What would you do with $20,000?

We begin work as soon as the sun rises and continue until well after it sets. She and I are fortunate to have seven children. To commemorate our 40th wedding anniversary, I would like to organize a 10-day all-inclusive vacation for the entire family, including a few of her friends and a couple of mine, along with our children and their families. This special trip will be an opportunity for us to renew our wedding vows and create lasting memories together.
