Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began at the perfect time. I was finishing college and healing from a difficult relationship, while Blas felt stuck and unsure of his career path. We became each other's biggest supporters, encouraging one another to grow. His love helped me believe I was enough and brought back the light in my eyes. Now I'm beginning my master's journey, and he's starting his path to becoming a correctional officer, proof of how we've helped each other become our best selves.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our first trip out of state together to Hawaii. It was a chance to explore somewhere new, make unforgettable memories, and learn so much about each other and our relationship. Every adventure brought us closer, but the most unforgettable moment was when Blas surprised me with the most perfect proposal. That trip wasn't just a vacation, it marked the beginning of our forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would put it toward creating our dream wedding. As we both begin new journeys in our education and careers, this would help us celebrate our love without the added financial stress. It would allow us to have the wedding we truly envision while starting our forever together without the burden of unnecessary debt. More than anything, it would give us the opportunity to focus on building our future and making lifelong memories.
