We were friends first. Introduced through a mutual friend who died suddenly and mysteriously at age 20 which cemented our bond. Both were dating other people at first until a mutual friend encouraged me to give Mark a shot. 36 years of marriage, 43+ years together, and many stories later, we are still going strong.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many to choose from: cruisingnto Burmuda on our honeymoon; dancing at our wedding, then 34 years later dancing at our daughter's wedding in the same venue on the beach; me in labor with our first son, while hubby watched the Indianapolis 500 on the TV in the deliver room because I was "sleeping" between contractions"; camping on the Cape, boating, over- the-top kiddie parties for the boys and 4th of July parties; buying our first house; building me a barn because he knew I loved horses.
What would you do with $20,000?I would love to take a family trip to Europe! Italy or Greece would be wonderful. One of those once in a lifetime vacations that our family will talk about for years to come and after we are no longer with them.
