How did your love story begin?

A very good friend of mine and band mate had a son who had become good friends with her daughter in elementary school. When we first met we were both seeing other people. A bit of time had passed and one of my bands that featured that friend had a reunion that she attended along with him and his wife. We only spoke briefly at the show as there were many people there I had not seen in years. I was quite smitten with her from that conversation and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory was when I surprised her with my proposal and a custom made engagement ring I had designed online at her 40th birthday party. We had been together for 5 years already. She had been previously married so I wasn't sure where she stood with getting married again. I started catching some subtle hints but come to find out it got to the point she thought I would never ask so when I threw her a big 40th birthday she was completely shocked and surprised when I proposed.

What would you do with $20,000?

Not going to lie. We would probably extend our current porch to our pool. It is something she has wanted since we bought the house but something else of a higher priority has always taken precedence, If there is any left over we will probably go to Iceland.
