We met on a dance floor, but it started before we ever spoke. She walked into the room and seemed to sparkle. Everyone else faded into the background. I thought she was married (due to a ring on her finger). When I found out she wasn't, I asked her out in the middle of a spin. Thank God she said yes! Our first date lasted 4 hours, our second, 10 hours. We talked, laughed, walked, shared stories, and discovered something rare—a connection that felt effortless from the very beginning.

On the 16th floor of the Savannah Westin, staring out over the water as the sun set. We had gotten the best room in the hotel because I said it was our anniversary (it wasn't). It was at that moment we knew this was it. It was the realization that being together felt easy. No pretending. No games. Just two people who genuinely loved spending time together and didn't want the day to end. We dressed as Pirates that night for an event, drank rum punch and roasted s'mores.

First, we'd create unforgettable memories together through travel and new adventures. But we'd also use part of the prize to invest in projects that help other people. We both believe life's greatest blessings become even more meaningful when they're shared. This prize would allow us to strengthen our future together while creating a positive impact on others.
