Our love story didn’t begin with candlelight or perfect timing. It began with heartbreak. He had just buried his brother. I was grieving the loss of my mom. Two strangers carrying impossible pain found comfort in each other when we needed it most. What grew from shared grief became a love built on resilience, faith, laughter, and choosing one another everyday. We didn’t just find our soulmates we found home in one another.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory isn’t a vacation or a single photograph. It’s realizing that when life shattered us, he never let go of my hand. We built a beautiful blended family, made memories exploring the world, and dreamed of forever. Then my traumatic brain injury changed everything. Instead of walking away, he became my caregiver, my greatest strength, and my home. My favorite memory is discovering what unconditional love truly looks like.
What would you do with $20,000?we’d invest in our family’s future. Life has thrown us challenges we never expected, and we’ve faced every one together. This would help ease financial burdens, protect our home, create lasting memories with our children, and finally give us room to breathe instead of just survive. More than anything, it would give us the chance to keep building the life we’ve worked so hard for, together.
