He was in the military, stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawai'i. I had moved to Hawai'i to be with a guy from high school. Rob and I met at a dive bar I was working at having been dragged out by his friends who were trying to cheer him up because he was missing his 2 y.o daughter. After a couple beers, they asked him who he thought was the prettiest girl in the bar, he pointed me out, said "her", and his friend came to talk him up. I bought him a beer and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Helping study for his Chief's exam when he was in the Navy. He brought home materials and I would sit with him, go over stuff and quiz him on information. He very proudly tells everyone about how involved I got helping him pass his exam and make Chief.
What would you do with $20,000?Be a little responsible and a little reckless. We don't do a lot of big things, we mostly bring home pets. But we'll pay off the little debt we currently carry and maybe splurge on an event or something extra special to both of us.
