We met in the Army! Both of us were selected to attend a 'Primary Leadership Course' while stationed at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Our first day while in a line up, I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and this guy says,"I'm going to marry you one day!" Immediately my hand sprung into the air to report, "this nut". We married 2 months after the course completed. Strangest part, 4 weeks into the course I was told as a Medic, I wasn't even suppose to be in this course but I begged them to stay.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every day is honestly memory making! We don't take any day for granted and we truly enjoy being together! I recently retired and we are together 24/7 and couldn't be happier!
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to go to Hawaii. We were both active duty military when we married and never had the chance to have a real honeymoon. Very shortly after we married we started our family, on a military income that was tough but we did it. Rick retired from the Army and I continued working as a nurse until this past October. Now it's our turn for us!!
