Connect How did your love story begin?

I was going through a breakup, and my oldest daughter had the intuition that her softball coach in high school would be a great match for me. She introduced us when I was not looking my best. She had her Junior prom and he was chaperoning solo. She made a comment that 'my mom would have came with you as your date'. He chuckled. She then gave him my phone number without my knowledge. He called and we talked for a couple of weeks. He then asked me to accompany him to the Senior prom.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Saying goodbye to our first dog that we had together. Not too long before we got married we were looking to add a pet to our home. We drove through a snow storm to get our Jack Russel Pug and we named her Ginger, mostly because of her color. She was a great pet. But as you know as time goes they get older as we do and their time on earth has to come to an end. Just being together for this, loving each other as we grieve, holding each other up knowing she was in a much better place.

What would you do with $20,000?

Rick and I didn't take a honeymoon when we married in 2010 and so we would use part of the money for a honeymoon. Rick was in the navy right after high school and part of his tour took him to several places Europe which he was not able experience. We have talked about going at some point in our life together but as you know life and responsibilities always come first.
