I was having an auction and moving away from our small town. Rick was selling concessions at the sale. We were both single at the time. He noticed me and was sorry I was leaving. But I came back and he came over to help fix a plumbing problem. We talked for hours. He kept showing up in my yard every day there after.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My daughter had bought a rough diamond for me. Unbeknownst to me, she had given it to Rick. We were in Wichita and stopped at a jewelry store. We had the stone put into a ring. On the way home I asked him if it was a friendship ring . He said "why don't we call it an engagement ring." That was 4 years ago. We have been smiling ever since, even through the death of his brother, the burning down of our house and the death of our dog. We reinvent our selves daily.
