We met when my best friend introduced us. Rick was my best friend’s brother. We became friendly, as we were in each other’s lives. We admitted we had feelings a year later, but he is 3 years older. We stayed friends. The following year, we were both in HS and took a chance. Two years later, we were pregnant. I was 16. It was a wild time. There was fear {me}, drama {every one else} and him… asking me to marry him. Well, I was hesitant. But, he was my guy, had a great job and told me to trust him.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We were just chatting about a wedding we went to that had a longevity dance. All married couples are invited to dance and then if you’ve been married less than 5 years, you go to your seat. It goes in 5 year increments and the floor cleared out fairly quickly. Well, it was us and an older couple left. They said 30 years and when we didn’t leave, they sent us to our seats, because it was supposed to be a special time for them. We had no idea. The room was shocked and we laughed all the way home.
What would you do with $20,000?Second honeymoon and maybe a couple home renovations we’ve been holding off on.
