We met on Facebook dating. Shelly had been living in Vegas for about a year. Katie moved to vegas about a month before meeting on Facebook dating. We met at a local restaurant/bar. The early afternoon and we ended up spending the entire day together. We picked up the kids from school and had dinner at my house while the kids played and we have been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is when Shelly told me (Katie) that she loves me. She was worried it was too soon and one day I had a really bad day. I was so upset and I was crying and she told me, “I didn’t know when the best time is but I think you should know that, even in your baddest days, I am so in love with you!” The tears didn’t stop but changed from frustration and sadness to love and happiness. I felt so lucky in that moment cuz I knew I finally found my person.
What would you do with $20,000?Shelly and I never had a real wedding or a honeymoon. I’m happy with the drag queen that married us but we would love to pay off some debt and go on our dream vacation to Wales/Brighton to see all the spots our favorite musician, Ren, used to live and perform. He is incredible and it’s our dream trip.
