How did your love story begin?

We met online in an AOL chat room; I lived in Florida and Mike lived in WA. State., We talked on the phone and the computer for 9 months and then May 10th, 2000, we both flew to Las Vegas and met in person for the first time. I was a Paramedic Fire fighter for Collier County for 17 years and after meeting Mike I quit my job and sold my house and moved to WA to be with him. We have been together now for 26 years. We got married on May 10, 2016, an I am looking forward to many more years together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is the first time we saw each other face to face in the lobby of the Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas. Mike's plane was late and I was waiting for him and I was standing behind a plant so I could see him first and when I stepped out, he got a huge smile on his face and set down his bag and wrapped his arms around me and smelled my hair and then looked into my eyes and said, "Life as we knew it will never be the same" and boy was he was right!

What would you do with $20,000?

As always, the first thing that comes to mind is pay off some bills, but we would also like to go back to Vegas and then see California and take a trip to Sioux city were Mike was born so he can show me around. We just returned from a trip to Naples Fla where I am from to spread my mom's ashes and I got to show him all my old hangouts and he got to meet some of my friends. We would love to win this experience and share our story with everyone.
