High school sweet hearts 43 years ago, but similar tragic circumstances brought us back and we married 05/30/2026. We love and laugh daily!

We met when I was 14 years old and he was 16. My aunt was in a gospel group with him and his family. Reggie and I dated for 2 years, going to school dances and his Senior Prom together. We were young and didn’t realize what “true love” meant, so life took us in different directions. Fast forward 40 years, and we both suffered very similar tragic endings to our respective relationships. I reached out to let him know there was someone going through the same thing, and we’ve been together since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Going to his Senior Prom ‘85, and also 42 years later when Reggie proposed to me in Southport, NC.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off some bills and finally get to go on a honeymoon.
