How did your love story begin?

At a softball game. I was 15 and he was 18. He and his brother and cousin were sitting behind me at the game and he could only see the back of my head. He was tossing popcorn at me trying to get me to turn around. He told his brother and cousin "I'm going to marry that girl" even before he saw my face. I finally turned around and saw him. It was the most incredible moment in my life. It was like a magic spell or magnets that had to be together at all cost.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Its more than just one favorite memory, our entire life together is, in itself, a favorite memory. The birth of our 3 children. He was there for all of them. The death of my parents from Parkinson and alzheimers. He was right there the whole time and supported me whole heartedly. The death of our youngest child at age 25. The death of his mother from a stroke. Most people in those situations don't make it through together. It really dose change a person. That's when you know its true love.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20.000 dollars! Ya to us, that's like winning a million dollars. We have some home improvements that have been needing to get done. Then we really need a new car. Our 2006 Chevy Malibu just recently died and we need to get a new car. We do alot of traveling between our 2 kids and 10 grandkids. Driving is way more fun than flying.
