Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on a dating app, and from the very beginning, I flirted relentlessly while he tried his best to be shy. On our magical first date, all I wanted was an excuse to kiss him. He looked like the kind of man who could survive the apocalypse, but instead of making a move, he spent the evening showing me robot videos and drone footage. By the end of the night, I was completely charmed, he was completely oblivious, and neither of us wanted to go home.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our first date. He looked to his left and saw me walking toward him. Later, he told me that from that moment on, there was nobody else in the world. Seven hours passed, but it felt like five minutes. We talked, laughed, and somehow lost all sense of time. Long after the date ended, that feeling stayed with us—the moment two strangers met and the rest of the world faded into the background.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, we’d go to Asia to meet my mom. We’d spend our days eating amazing food, hiking to places with incredible views, and stopping every five minutes so he could get “just one more” drone shot. I’d make sure we had a layover in Dubai for reasons that definitely have nothing to do with shopping. By the end of the trip, we’d somehow have a thousand photos, a few extra suitcases, and a very serious conversation about whether a tiny stray cat could fit in a carry-on.
