How did your love story begin?

We met outside a lively sports bar where the evening felt like a soundtrack to our life. I didn’t notice him at first cause I was just looking at my phone and typing away… until he said the perfect thing, sparking my attention humorously and in a grand way that broke the ice in an instant. Then the moment shifted: we found a rhythm on the floor, dancing to a great southern soul song that felt like it was written just for us. We struck up a conversation and world around us melted!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory has to be when we opened similar videos and noticed we were in the same location at the same time and was line dancing next to each other. This is one scenario that made us believe that we are connected to each other and that our paths were meant to intertwine, in which this happened 3 consecutive times before.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the $20,000 to lay the groundwork for a purpose that runs through our family like a thread of light. The funds would contribute to building a one-bedroom miniature building for visiting family, placed beside our forever home currently under construction, so loved ones can stay really close. As time goes on, the investment would extend to supporting our mother’s independence by providing a comfortable space where she can live safely while we remain her steady source of love and care.
