My father was 16 and my mom was 13 they met in church youth group. They have been together for 57 years, sis by side. Daddy fell in poverty with momma and is lost without her. From Jr high church group, married at 16 and 19 with parental consent of course lol Against all odds, these two love birds have been together had two daughters, and eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Since I am filling this out for my parents, I would have to say, daddy loves to tell the story how he met my mom. He had met her at youth group, but his true moment of defeat and smitten by the love bug was when she was outside washing her mom’s car in her little bikini with ruffles on the butt apparently. He drove around the block three times because he thought she was so beautiful. He was smitten and hooked!
What would you do with $20,000?My parents give everything they have to others in need my parents have been missionaries for so many years. I can’t even count. It is all about giving to others who are less fortunate. For $20,000 my parents could actually do something for themselves. Take a much needed vacation, they have always wanted to go to the holy lands or taken Alaskan cruise. As Miss missionaries, they live very modestly. It would be nice to see them do something for themselves for once.
