It’s a Covid Love Story. We were both just entering the dating world again, starting on dating apps. I sent Ralph a message and we chatted for a few weeks through text before getting the opportunity to meet. It’s not a super original love story other than the fact that most people were scared of in person meetups during that time, but we were both willing, open and hopeful. We both realized that we’ve been given a second chance at LOVE and we were going to seize it! Slowly and steadily!

I’ll never forget being in Morro Bay having an adventure and then laying quietly later in the day when we said “I love you” for the first time. But the memory that stays with us most is our first night after moving in together. The deflating air mattress along with the quiet comfort of knowing we were finally home together and the excitement of it all. That’s when I realized the greatest moments aren’t always the loudest or fanciest,they’re the ones that make your heart feel completely on fire.

To be completely honest, it’s probably going towards college costs for our kids and probably some housing repair costs. Hopefully a small getaway for us lovebirds. We will have to dream bigger when our 4 kids (21, 19, 18 & 16) are older and able to fund themselves. 🫠
