We met in prison!…. No no, we are not inmates. I am a correctional officer at the Utah state Prison, and Rae was an EMT that worked there. I noticed Rae in the infirmary, and asked another officer “who’s that!” The officers response, “ oh, she’s a badass!” A short time later she gave me her phone number to go axe throwing, I couldn’t believe she gave me her phone number. I called her a week later and we’ve been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My proposal to Rae was in Universal Studios in front of Hogwarts Castle. We’re nerds and I knew this was the place to propose. It took me three attempts, each time I got her to the castle she was in a hurry to get to the next fun event. The park was closing soon, my third and final attempt I got her to the castle and told her to look at a light, she was trying to find the light and with the ring on my finger, I pointed at the castle, when she noticed it I kneeled and asked her to marry me.
What would you do with $20,000?When we got married we didn’t get to go on a honeymoon. We would love to finally go on a real honeymoon somewhere , as well as pay off our medical bills.
