I went to band practice with a friend to meet a cute guy and instead I met my forever! Eric was a lead singer in a rock ‘n’ roll band and his voice gave me goosebumps! Shortly after Eric invited me over for our first date. I showed up and he was planting plants with the lady next-door wearing a Mr. Hanky T-shirt and his hat on backwards. He wasn’t trying to impress me, but I was hooked. I came over for a date and never left!

This might be out of the ordinary, but our favorite memories came during times of trouble. Times when it would’ve been easy to walk away and give up on our marriage and each other. Instead, we chose to stay, we chose to work through the hard, we chose each other. We found on the other side of trouble was paradise. We’ve learned a lot through our mistakes and it’s made us the couple we are today. We know we can get through anything together!

We would use this money to write a book! The book is called Save Me. Eric‘s childhood was full of sadness, hardships and tragedy. He used those times to grow, learn and become the man he is today. We are currently working on writing his book TOGETHER to tell his story. We want to tell how he is overcome something that could’ve destroyed him. He doesn’t go anywhere without leaving a positive impact. His words are inspirational, his presence being peace, and we want to share that with others!
